Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Veylum collects when you visit our website, contact us, or place an order, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. Veylum is responsible for this information, and you can reach us about it through the contact details at the end of this page.

Effective date

This version of the policy takes effect on the Last updated date shown above.

Information we collect

  • What you share with us: your contact details (name, email, and phone), your delivery and billing addresses, what you order, and anything you write to us.
  • Payment information: your card or wallet details are entered on the secure checkout and handled by the payment processor; we receive only limited details, such as the payment method and the last digits of a card.
  • Collected when you browse: the type of device and browser you use, your IP address and the rough location it suggests, which pages you open, and the site that sent you here, through cookies and similar tools.
  • Information from partners: delivery updates from carriers, and the content of any review you choose to leave through our review provider.

We collect only the information we need to take, deliver, and track your orders, and to run our store.

How we use your information

  • To process, ship, and track your orders, returns, exchanges, and refunds.
  • To answer your questions by email, phone, or contact form.
  • To send order and shipping emails, and, if you sign up, our newsletter with new arrivals and care tips.
  • To keep our website secure, prevent fraud, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
  • To show relevant ads and to measure our advertising with Google Ads, which runs on every visit, as explained under Cookies below.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

  • Shopify, the platform that hosts our store and checkout; payment data on its checkout is encrypted and handled under the PCI DSS security standard.
  • Payment processors, to take payments and issue refunds.
  • Carriers, including USPS, UPS, DHL, and regional partners, to deliver your order, and our order tracking app.
  • Our review provider, to publish the reviews customers choose to write.
  • Our cookie consent tool, to record your choices.
  • Analytics and advertising partners: Google receives visit data through Google Ads on every visit, as explained under Cookies below.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights and our customers.

Some advertising cookies may count as selling or sharing personal information under certain state laws. You can opt out of this sale or sharing on our Your Privacy Choices page, and you can change your cookie choices at any time in our cookie settings. These choices do not stop Google Ads, which runs on every visit, as explained under Cookies below.

Your Privacy Choices

Cookies

Cookies keep your cart, remember your choices, measure site traffic, and support advertising. When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept or decline optional cookies, or set your preferences. After you choose, a “Change your consent” button at the bottom left of the page lets you change your choice at any time. Your choice does not stop Google Ads: it measures our advertising on every visit, whether or not you accept cookies, and sets the _gcl_au cookie. Your browser settings can block cookies, though parts of the site may then not work properly.

Marketing emails

We send our newsletter only if you sign up. To stop receiving it, contact us using the details at the end of this page.

Your privacy rights

Depending on the state where you live, state privacy laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), may give you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale or sharing, of targeted advertising, and of profiling. We take reasonable steps to keep your personal information accurate, and we correct it when you ask us to. To use these rights or ask for a correction, email support@veylum.com, call +1 (202) 864-1836, or use our contact form. Support hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM ET, and we aim to reply within 2 calendar days. Some requests may require identity verification where permitted by law. Use Your Privacy Choices to submit a browser-based opt-out. An authorized agent can make a request for you with your written permission, and we never treat you differently for using your rights.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described above, which includes the order, tax, and accounting records that the law requires us to keep. Payment information is kept only for the time needed to complete the transaction. For questions about your personal information, see Contact information below.

Security

Our site runs on encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No system is completely secure, so please contact us right away if you notice anything unusual about your account or orders.

Children

Our store is meant for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
